I had complained to the local BBB where Guru.com was based about the fact that Sneaky Bird consulting was still available as a service provider on their site and that they were facilitating the fact that this guys was stealing money from others.. I guess Guru.com got the message.. either that or the bird is hiding out.. He had told me several times that his wife (Jennifer) did all the bids and did the payments....I guess she is part of the deception...since I never got any money. My responsibilities mostly include the low-level TCP/IP programming aspects of the game." If you can get a bunch of people I would be more than happy to see if I could get my $1500 from this loser. Steve had many "talltales" that he told us - from having a $250K project with a community college in Kansas for the creation of an online education portal, to programming a state of the art investment tool that can forecast where stocks will go (he claimed to have made 20K with this tool in one day). One of the many "stories" that he told us was that he owned a HUGE development company that he had made millions in Silicon Valley...and one of his partners embezzled all the money and left him with nothing. Obviously this is another one of his many lies - but if its the truth - he got what he deserved on this one. I Googled to find out if this is in fact true - and found nothing - i would think that if someone embezzled MILLIONS (I think he said $50M) that would get some sort of news coverage - local at least). I found nothing. This guy has two GURU profiles and from the dollar figures that were on there months ago - he had made upwards of $30K on the site....I wonder how many of these people he conned.
